Who knows what the cost of fuel will be when we wake up tomorrow? The food at the grocery store seems to be priced higher every day. With so much economic uncertainty it is nice to know there is one company with a fixed price policy that hasn’t waned-The Dollar Tree. This dollar store franchise carries toiletries, kitchen necessities and party decorations, just to name a few.

Many assume dollar store merchandise has low quality control, but you can find the same brand names that you would find at Wal-Mart or your local supermarket. For instance, when I needed cleaning supplies I was able to find Pledge, Windex and Lysol products at my local Dollar Tree. At the Lowes Foods next door a bottle of Windex would cost me at least $2.30. At The Dollar Tree it was… well, you know, a dollar.

Saving $1.30 on cleaning supplies may not excite you, but think about the possibility that you could save over 50% on everyday purchases. It will add up in no time. If you haven’t discovered your local dollar store, check it out and see how much you can save.
