I remember years ago when we needed one for my grandmother. If I remember correctly, we bought a used one. If your
father-in-law doesn’t mind used, I would contact some medical companies that might sell used ones. If I get any more information I will let you know.
Yeah I agree with Elizabethl, I am not sure if you are in the Winston Salem area but there is a medical place in Clemmons, Major Medical Supply i think that is great. I have known the guy that runs the place for a few years through a previous employment. You could check with them. Hang in there, You will make it!!
johnnymac - Have you tried the 211 service in Forsyth County? It’s a service of the United Way in Forsyth County that connects you with health and human service agencies that may be able to assist you.
Simply pick up a landline phone and call 211.

It’s great you want to help your father in law. I’m sure its been tough on your whole family. In addition to trying to save, I would suggest having a fundraiser,Yardsale/bakesale, hot dogs or car wash. You would be surprised, folks that may want to help. I recently baked a cake for a fundraiser and donated it.
