When I started the new year, I told myself that I was going to stick to my budget. Following a budget is like balancing your checkbook, you should balance it weekly to make sure you are on track for the month. I know it is hard but it can be done. If you are like me you probably have the standard household bills like: house payment, car payments, insurance, credit cards and last but not least Daycare. Paying $800+ a month in daycare and $3 a gallon for gasoline you have to curb your finances somewhere. My wife and I did it by eating at home or packing our lunch. Did you know that by doing that just for lunch, we are saving $100 a week/$400 a month.
Do you have a Budget? What is your secret for saving money? What would you do if you had $400 extra a month? Pay extra on credit cards?, put it in the bank?

This blog asks a simple question: "What are you saving for?" Its goal is to help people set savings goals, develop a disciplined and/or systematic savings habit, and build a corresponding community of like-minded people as a support network. By laughing, crying, and discussing how we each approach this topic together, we should find it much easier to save together. So what are you saving for?
